Fortune Magazine reports that AT&T is trying to be among the first to solve the serious issue of loss of telecommunications when a natural disaster strikes an area. Having cell-phone and internet service down for 72 hours can be disastrous for a small business dependent on instant communications. AT&T’s solution is a portable cell-tower and generator that travels in a large suitcase to connect to the nearest communications system. The CNN video explains more.
