Data from the Rasmussen Consumer Index show that their is striking difference between government employees and private sector employees when it comes to economic outlook and personal finances. Below are some of thee results:
Rated economy as good/excellent
Government employees: 24%
Private Employees: 9%
Rated economy as getting better
Government employees: 46%
Private Employees: 32%
There was a difference on how they see their own personal finance:
Rated personal finances as good or excellent
Government employees: 44%
Private Employees: 33%
Rated their finances as improving
Government employees: 31%
Private Employees: 23%
