The International Monetary Fund says, “The global recession is ending.” If you do business overseas, one of the best free information sources is the IMF’s semi-annual World Economic Outlook. Although I have not always been a fan of IMF policies, I’ve found their Outlook to be unbiased. It covers a lot of ground, and includes forecasts for all the countries for which data are available. Remember, it’s not nearly enough to have a view of what the economic future is; you also have to figure out what to do in your business today to prepare for that future.
