Washington reforms liquor laws — Is Oregon next?

Washington voters just approved I-1183 to privatize liquor sales. The first day distributor can start selling is March 1st of 2012. The state must close its 164 state liquor stores by June 2012. KGW-TV went a step further by asking whether the reforms could come to Oregon. KGW-TV asked both the Oregon Liquor Control Commission and Don McIntire who once sponsored a petition to reform Oregon’s liquor laws.
