Bush picks Portlander to lead Small Business Administration

 Presient Bush chose his assistant Commerce secretary for economic development, Sandy Baruah, to lead the nation’s Small Business Administration.  Sandy Baruah is a former Portland businessman who left to serve the Bush Administration in 2001.  The appointment must be confirmed by the Senate.   The current acting administrator is Jovita Carranza.
