Lake Oswego, OR – June 4, 2009 – Better Business Bureau’s Secure Your ID Day is back! It’s time to gather up your unwanted documents and take advantage of this free shredding service. To raise awareness of the importance of safeguarding personal information and keeping sensitive documents out of the wrong hands, your BBB proudly presents:

THE FIRST RULE IN IDENTITY PROTECTION: IF YOU DON’T NEED IT, DISPOSE OF IT… PROPERLY:  Any unwanted documents that contain financial data, account numbers, PINs, birth dates or Social Security numbers—including: expired ID cards, junk mail, legal documents, credit card and bank statements, cancelled checks and carbon copies—should be shredded.

Drive up and drop off up to three (3) grocery bags of unwanted documents (no cardboard or three-ring binders please). Items will be securely shredded on-the-spot by EFI Secured Shredding and Recycling. 100 percent of the materials will be recycled.
